This state spotlight highlights the New York 6|18 Medicaid-public health partnership and its efforts to increase coverage of tobacco cessation treatment for Medicaid enrollees, including counseling and medication; remove barriers and restrictions to effective treatment; and develop provider and public media campaigns to increase awareness of tobacco cessation services available to Medicaid enrollees.
